iOS dive log · in development · free beta

The dive log that never loses a dive.

Works on the boat with no signal. Puts your photos on the right dive by itself. Lets you take every log with you, any time.

Logbooks shouldn’t sink.

Divers log to prove experience, dive safer and remember the trip. Right now, that history is fragile.

Your app went quiet.

Years of dives in an app that stopped getting updates, may vanish from the App Store and doesn’t know your new computer.

An update ate my dives.

Corrupted logs and missing dives after a sync. The one thing a logbook must never do.

No signal on the boat.

Cloud-first apps stall exactly where you dive: liveaboards, remote islands, a RIB ten kilometres out.

Photos here, dives there.

Hundreds of shots in your camera roll, none of them attached to the dive they came from.

What I’m building.

Nothing here has shipped yet. Every feature carries a label, so you know exactly where it stands.

Your photos find their dive.

The app looks at when and where each photo in your iPhone library was taken and attaches it to the right dive. Camera clock off by a few minutes? Snap your dive computer’s screen with the same camera and the offset gets fixed for the whole trip.

  • Matches by time and GPS
  • Fixes camera clock drift
  • Manual attach for photos from messengers, which strip dates

Bring your whole archive.

Fifteen years of dives shouldn’t be stuck in one app. Import is planned for the standard formats and the logs people actually use, so you can move in on day one.

  • UDDF, the open standard
  • MacDive XML, Subsurface, Shearwater and Garmin FIT exports
  • Apple Watch Ultra dives via Apple Health

Zero bars. Zero problem.

Everything works offline because everything lives on your iPhone first. And it never holds your data hostage: export the full log whenever you like.

  • Local-first, works with no internet

Working towards Divemaster or Instructor? Get a finger signature and certification number right on the dive. Once signed, the entry locks, so the record stays trustworthy.

Can I bring my existing dive archive?

That’s the plan for day one. Import is being built for UDDF (the open format most dive apps can export), MacDive XML, Subsurface, Shearwater and Garmin exports, plus Apple Watch Ultra dives via Apple Health. If your current log can export a file, tell me which one in the form below: it decides what gets tested first.

Will it download from my dive computer over Bluetooth?

Not in the first version. Direct Bluetooth download is planned for a later version. Until then, you can import the files your computer’s own app exports. Tell me your computer model in the form: it shapes the priority list.

What will it cost?

The plan is a one-time purchase, with no mandatory subscription. The beta is free. The final price isn’t set yet, and the form asks what feels fair to you.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. The app is built local-first, and you’ll be able to export everything to UDDF, CSV or PDF at any time. Your logbook is a file you own, not a row in someone else’s database.

iPhone only?

iPhone first, with Apple Watch Ultra dives via Apple Health. A Mac app is planned for later. There’s no Android version planned for now.

Will it calculate decompression or plan dives?

No. It’s a logbook, not a planner and not a dive computer. Plan and dive with your computer and your training.

Who’s building this?

Alex, an independent iOS developer in the EU who has built photo apps before. One person, no investors, no data business.
